Chief Executive Officer
As the 2016 CEO for The Entrepreneur Challenge, Alex's vision is to setup the organization as a Foundation in order to set it up for sustainable growth with the ultimate goal of franchising the Entrepreneur Challenge to other universities. Alex has been a part of the Entrepreneur Challenge since 2015 as the COO and is current the founder and CEO for BREWnGO Technologies. He is currently in the executive MBA program at the Rady School of Management in the 2018 cohort.
Chief Finance Officer
Ron is a Highly Driven MBA Candidate at UCSD's Rady School of Management. Prior to Rady, Ron served as a U.S. Naval Officer with over four years of leadership and project management experience, and he held positions within Aerospace, Commercial Banking, Small Business Development and Non-Profit Healthcare in Sales and Finance. Ron is also a founder of IdeaConnect, which is a common ground for all UCSD students with an entrepreneurial drive to share concepts, solve problems, and generate new ideas.
Chief Marketing Officer
Following a biology undergraduate education and work experience, Zack decided to transfer his skills into the business sector. A current first-year MBA student, he is looking to develop his business skills to return to the biotechnology industry following graduation. A native San Diegan and fan of all things sport, you can usually find him buffing up his fantasy football team or running through campus while he trains for his next marathon.
Chief Operations Officer
Rian is a 5th year Undergraduate Structural Engineering Student with a Minor in Business Management. He has built a wealth of insight and perception for how successful businesses grow due to his formative years in India and his experience working for Envision Labs. As a technically developed student with experience in business related matters, he seeks to bridge the gap between STEM majors and business minded people. Hence allowing a healthy growth of the ever expanding entrepreneur community.
Chief Communications Officer
Dan is a current PhD. candidate in Sociology researching entrepreneurship and college-to-career transitions. He is a 2015 Kaufmann Fellow, a Lecturer at San Diego State University, a Community Coordinator for 1MillionCups, and a Researcher for CREATE (Center for Research on Educational Equity, Assessment, and Teaching Excellence.
Chief Logistics Officer
Juliana is a 1st year executive MBA student at Rady School of Management. Her experience stems from working in different managerial roles in countries such as Brasil & Mexico. As an experienced project manager, she efficiently managed multi-million dollar contracts, trained staff, and delegated responsibilities effectively. Her combined diversity and experience is a core resource to the foundation and it's connections.
