***ALL workshops are mandatory to attend in order to compete (must have at least one teammate attend). If you missed or will miss any of the workshops but would still like to compete, please send an email to email@example.com to give your reason why ALL of your teammates were unable to attend. For legitimate reasons, teams will be given an opportunity to watch the video of the event and complete a questionnaire to make up for not attending.***

Steps for Applying:
1. Before applying, please read and sign THIS document regarding eligibility.
2. Login or sign up on UC San Diego’s Private Community Ideator with your UCSD email (If you don't have a UCSD.edu email account but do meet the eligibility, please contact Jessica Bonilla at CCO@theefoundation.org.) Competition space is limited and all information submitted will be used in the selection process. All information will remain confidential and not be shared with anyone outside of your team or The Entrepreneur Challenge. Find a folder of resources to help with your materials and presentation HERE. Click on this link to get a step by step guide on how to submit your idea.
3. Now that your profile is complete, go to the “Collections” tab and click on “Entrepreneur Challenge: Business Plan Competition” and press “ Submit an Idea”, select your idea, and write “ For Entrepreneur Challenge Business Plan Competition” in the personal message section, include a primary email to contact & the recipient's name, and submit the application. Wait for an Entrepreneur Challenge member to review and verify your profile is complete. Regularly check your UCSD email address for additional information that may be needed for final approval of your application.
4. Those accepted into the competition will be notified on a rolling basis Wednesday - Friday , April 26th - April 28th. Those competing for 1st and 2nd place in each track will be the only teams to present at the final event, third place will be determined at the semifinals and mentioned at the event. The semifinals will take place on April 30th (updated). Companies will have an opportunity to showcase at the event on May 30th (this is updated) and they will be determined based on performance at the SemiFinals.
The Best Executive Summary will win $5,000 Cash and will be announced on May 26th (Updated due to problems with Ideator).
